A Month of Letters

Oh, alright. I’m in!

A few blogger friends, mostly fellow ex-Voxers, have been talking about this: correspond via physical, snail mail to someone every day in February. Send a letter, a package, a fabric swatch, a clipping from a newspaper, a card, whatever!

Do you want to play? Here are the rules:

  1. In the month of February, mail at least one item through the post every day it runs.  Write a postcard, a letter, send a picture, or a cutting from a newspaper, or a fabric swatch.
  2. Write back to everyone who writes to you. This can count as one of your mailed items.

Want me to write something to you? Wouldn’t it be fun to get a letter, on paper, or a package of some kind? Email me at slavicmargy AT yahoo DOT com.

That’s all you have to do. I’ll send you at least one physical correspondence of some kind. If you’re not in the US, no worries! We have this wonderful thing called Air Mail. And wouldn’t it be fun to get a letter from overseas???

And here’s a link to the person who thought this all up: http://www.maryrobinettekowal.com/journal/month-of-letters/

And thanks to fellow bloggers Lauwolf and Rossotron for finally nudging me into it!

  1. Agh! Straggler!

I got the current running list, plus a few addendums, from lauowolf, yesterday and today. (Nope, I didn’t see you on it.) Will be sending you a message right quick here soon. I am very much looking forward to writing!
