  1. I was trying to figure out what lechón asado meant… in Spanish, “ón” usually signifies “great big” (caja = box, cajón = great big box) or “very much so” (err, words I’d better not repeat).

    Big milk roasted?

    So I cheated, and looked up on Wikipedia. Apparently it’s a suckling pig roast, because that’s where the redirect headed. So “lechón” refers to the fact that the piglet is still taking in much milk for its food.
