And The Show Goes On

Bliss! The elections are over and the good guys won, at least as far as I’m concerned. I can now turn back to the rest of life unencumbered by election-day jitters. I hope we can get more done in the next four years than we did in the last. I’m not expecting perfection, but I do want my vote to count for something.

On the NaNoWriMo front, I’m doing splendidly. In fact, I’m writing over 2,000 words a day and finding that I have a lot to say. I’m almost up to 20,000 words and am delighted with myself for doing this.

So, elections – check. NaNoWriMo – check. Courses at Arlington Community Ed – check. I’m happy.

I Couldn’t Resist

My husband sent me this. Every now and again, it’s just fun to take a poke at the other side (respectfully, of course):

Bumper Stickers for 2012

Democrats: cleaning up Republican messes since 1933.
My President killed Osama Bin Laden.  How about yours?
You want to take the country back.  We want to take if forward.
Tea Parties are for little girls with imaginary friends.
Voting is like driving: choose (R) to move backward, choose (D) to move forward.
Proud to be everything the right wing hates.
Tea Party?  White Whine Party is more like it.
After the rapture, can I have your car?
Don’t want government?  Move to Somalia.
Save America:  spay or neuter your Republican.
Republicans 2012:  Keeping millions out of work to put one man out of a job.
Am I a liberal ?  Or just well-educated ?
If Liberals hated American, we’d vote Republican.
